'Ngai'

Handmade in Sydney at Salt Studio and made of black laguna clay.

Sculpture 10cm on trinket plate 12cm

Inspired by my mum Ngai and an acknowledgement of stoic and gentle femininity. Ngai is also the Guringai word for woman.

Please note that this is a one of a kind, handmade piece and may have individual freckles/slight imperfections in either the glaze or finish.  We believe this is what a handmade object should have and we cherish our flaws and would encourage you to do the same xx
